Biily Collin's Poetry (March 7, 2012)

Though we did watch it during class, I picked "Somedays" as my favorite one. I realized that this poem is about being controled and controlling. Somedays you just go with the flow, but other times, you order or command the others what they have to do. Also I think there is the unpredictable factor in it. Days are just very unpredictable. Also, this "Somedays" which gives readers a feeling that it is common, reoccuring phenomenas. That there are always these days where you control or are being controlled. The poetic elements in this poem are rhymes like people/table, alliteration: people/places, refrain: perfectly/perfectly, along with vivid imagery. I feel exactly like this poem these days, about being a leader and a team member: ontrolling and being controlled.
