The quickwrite says:"All of us, at some point in our lives, we have felt that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, which means we have envied other peoples' lives. We believe that having what someone else has will make us happy, until we experience the unexpected negative results of envy. Jot down your feeling about envy. Have you ever seen or felt its negative effects?"
Seriously, Quickwrite? Seriously? Are you sure? Are you a 100% sure that all of "us" had envied other peoples' lives? You are so hilarious. I, have never been jealous of other peoples' lives. Sure, I've envied that other kids got more lollipops than I did. However, I admit, I am spoiled. There is nothing for me to be jealous of. I have everything I need. A perfect family, the best warm and cozy house, my own room, a laptop, mp3, and a endless list of things i have, and had had. I have everything. I would never, ever wish I had someone else's life. If I had to chose which person's life I had to live, I would rather choose death. There would be no point in living if I lived someone else's life. I mean, well I dont have striaght A++, and I am not 180 cm, but those are what keeps me going! If everything was absolutely perfect, then what's the point of living? Those tiny, minor imperfections, are what I need to work on. I need to get the highest grades and grow very tall, and feel the wonder of living! I would never, ever, ever, in my whole entire life, wish I had someone else's life. My life, is perfect, with the minor imperfections that could become perfect with my endeavors.
I'm sorry, I am very mad at the quickwrite for asking such an impruedent and idiotic question and stating that all of "us" had been jealous and envious of others, and wishing "We" had other people's lives. (Which I never ever ever had or will wish.)
